DERMAL FILLERS
Dermal fillers are substances that are injected underneath the skin to add volume, smooth out wrinkles or lines, and enhance facial features. They are typically made of hyaluronic acid, a naturally occurring substance in the body that helps hydrate and maintain skin elasticity.

Dermal fillers can be used to address a variety of concerns, such as:
-
reducing the appearance of wrinkles and fine lines
-
plumping up thin lips
-
filling in hollow areas of the face
-
facial contour redefinition
-
correction of cheekbone and chin proportions using a multiple layer technique
The procedure is minimally invasive, with little to no downtime, and typically lasts several months to a year depending on the type of filler used.

What is a
DERMAL FILLER
treatment like?
Before the procedure, the injection sites will be prepped for cleanliness and a numbing cream or local anesthesia can be used to minimize discomfort.
Once the area is numb, the filler is injected with a small needle or cannula.
The filler sessions last 15 to 30 minutes depending on the area treated. The doctor may massage the treatment areas to distribute the filler evenly.
After the procedure, patients may experience some redness, swelling or bruising, but this typically resolves within a few days.
Immediately after the session the patient can resume their work and social activities.
''Treatment allows a person to feel more confident.
They just wake up in the morning, go to the mirror, and they like themselves,
then they feel more comfortable in society."
